Bandanas BBQ in Wentzville

Placed an order online for a 1/2 slab of ribs, baked beans P. salad 30 minutes in advance. When I arrived. No order. The giggling teenagersays, "don't worry it's coming." Five minutes later I cancelled my order.Get some adult supervision in that place to manage those aloof teens.And, there were only 3 customers in the establishment. So, it wasn't a crowed Wednesday night.

The Wentzville location had the most tender ribs! Everything was great. Had the ribs at other locations and was dissapointed

I enjoyed eating here. Sadly they were out of ribs when we went. But what I did have was really good. If you are looking for a bbq place to try they are very good. And the employees are very nice.

BBQ....it is what you grew up on. That being said, the beef and pork were tender. This BBQ place is just not for me.There are plenty of sauce options on the table to doctor up your plate, but not my style. The meats are heavily smoked with Hickory. If you enjoy smoke hickory meat then you may love Bandana's. I personally not an over the top hickory flavor smoke meat kinda guy.Prices seem a little higher than competitors, but not out of realm of typical smoke meat houses. So I give an eh in taste. But let me make this clear, it's about a type of smoke I do not gear towards. Hickory is an extremely common flavor in BBQ. Bandana's does an excellent job in making a flavorful, tender plate so for that, 5 stars. Unfortunately everything I have tried has an overwhelming hickory taste, so for that, 2 stars.

This location always does a food job. If you have a large group this place offers a pretty good bang for buck especially if you go with the family orders the BBQ dinner for 3 feeds my family of 7 with a little left over. We did order and extra side.

Oh Banadana's. It had been too long! Unfortunately they were out of beef, but the ribs were awesome! I love this place and always try to make a stop at any Bandanas location when I am in the area. Being from Nebraska, I don't get down to Missouri as often as I used to.

Great food and fantastic service

I have to resist stopping in every day I drive past this place, the smell alone is amazing. Turkey is good, ribs are good, chicken is good, basically everything is good. Staff is very nice and made sure our drinks were always full. The kids love their food as well, definitely a plus!

Nice atmosphere. Okra is always fresh never burnt. Each and every single time you never have to ask for anything! Literally can be packed and yet they make you feel like you are the only person in there! Meat is always tender never burnt black etc! Good place to go to for lunch or dinner or inbetween. Sauces are fantastic. Use as much or as little as you want! Place is always clean and inviting. Bread is soft and fresh always. No complaints ever is why I always return. Thank you for a great experience every time!

For BBQ my standard is near impossibly high. We ate a variety of the meat. Some of it was good. Some of it not so much. The setting is open. It's nice. They need to bbq with more moisture.

Menu variety is impressive, and food portions are very fair. Flavor is incredible!

It's a "do again" sometime when we're back in town. I'll try the ribs next time, but my catfish and brisket (wife) was good.

Went to eat at a BBQ place and they were out of ribs. How does that even happen?? Price point was good, but when I can't order what I went there to get, the price is irrelevant.

Excellent food one of the better bandanas I have eaten at. The device was great and the food was delicious I can only say that the pulled pork dinner is awesome but could be bigger in portion size especially for $13.40 I kinda left the table still hungry

Bland food. Overpriced. Hit or miss. Sometimes good, most times not. Too many other places nearby treat you better, and give you better food for less. The parking lot is empty for a reason.

The service was slow but the food was good, my favorite would probably be the Wet Bandana and trust me, they never skip out on giving you the most they can fit on the plate.

I love this place. Ribs melt in your mouth and the baked potatoes are steaming hot. Sides are perfect

First time in Bandana's and I was not disappointed. With all BBQ restaurants I wonder into, I judge them by starting without adding any sauce. This time I had almost finished before trying their sauces. Needless to say I was very pleased with this meal (three meat platter with BBQ baked beans and slaw) also very friendly staff and prompt as well. I will be coming back the next time I am in the area. Awesome service at a reasonable price 👍

Great food, a little pricy

Food was great but service was sooo slow. Tried having a quick lunch but sat forever waiting for the check.

Quarantine take out: So we called in a take out order for sliced beef to make sandwiches, two sides of okra, two sides of sweet corn and two sides of baked beans. When we got home the two sides of okra was enough for one kids sized plate. A lot Of $$$$, we paid $31 for two adult meals but got very tiny portions. The sides were kids sizes. Not adult sizes at all. We felt it’s way over priced for very little food. We ordered Sugarfire a few weeks ago, and they were amazing to us.

We ordered for takeout and I received chicken WITH THE FEATHERS STILL ON. Legitimately, the feathers were cooked and still intact. Someone first cooked the chicken with the feathers on, then someone else saw this piece of meat with the feathers hanging off of it and thought, “Yes, this is acceptable to feed to a customer.” On top of that, the cole slaw tasted old, bland and soggy. We were very disappointed. The quality was not this bad a couple years ago. Not sure what happened. We will definitely not be back.

The food here was so good!!! Loved our waitress, she was great about keeping our drinks full and had a great personality. My uncle is sassy and always gives the waitresses a hard time, our waitress was able to dish it right back to him and made us all laugh. Definitely recommend this place for good barbecue. Okra here was so good!!!

Went for lunch. It was ok. Ribs were tough. Sauces were good and pulled pork was good. Fast service.

Food was great very disappointed in covid19 protection. My husband ask if they could bring it curbside due to his compromised immune system was told no. Poor social distancing procedure. Will not patronize again until fixed. Sorry love the food but not worth dying over.

The food is excellent. Service was not as good as usual. 30 minutes to get waited on. Order was incorrect when I received it.

Found this great restaurant through TripAdvisor. It was a little crowded for Father's Day but the staff was great and the wait was not bad. The food was delicious...we got the dinner for 2 with ribs, chicken, and we chose brisket....all very good and good portions...we had plenty of extra meat to take home. We chose the ocra and beans which were both tasty and the garlic bread was also crisp, not hard. Highly recommended!

Decent barbecue for the price. I got the wet bbq sandwich which was drenched in sauce. It didnt let the meat shine through but was decent. I got fried okra for the side, its was fairly tasty and impressive. Light breading and not fried too long so it kept the green okra flavor and texture inside. I really liked seeing the old Wentzville photos coming in. Atmosphere was nice.
